I enjoyed the Lemon Bar (lemon ice cream with big chunks of shortbread cookies) and Goat Cheese and Black Berry ice cream....both were soooo very, very good! Also, I appreciate Maria helping me to decide on the lemon bar for my half scoop. Just one question: when are y'all moving to TX? Connecticut needs to share the love with a few other states.
😋🍨💖
Bought 4 ice creams. Delicious ice cream. Double Oreo. Wow so good! Atmosphere is very clean and well maintained. Our family found a new ice cream shop. Only drawback was slightly pricey, but is expected when dining at such a nice place with local products being used to create delicious product.
The food here is overpriced. There are no two ways about it. The portions I was given in no way match the price I paid.
As to the quality, it was average. The menu is limited, at least as far as I was concerned. Only one or two items actually appealed to me.
The only good thing I can say is that I didn't need to wait too long for my order. I am willing to go back here, but only passively: if someone I'm with feels to need to eat here, I'll go along, but won't seek it out on my own accord.
Took a 45 minute drive out here based on the recommendation from a coworker. Definitely "meh" in my book, and I've had a ton of ice cream. Maybe because they don't have much competition in the area, people seem to think it's the best thing going. Flavors, although they're a bit unique, lacked a rich full flavor. It was almost as if the ice cream was a bit dull and watered down. Overall I'd say just an average ice cream spot..what also really left a sour impression was the attitude of the girl working the front. There was literally a line of maybe 4-5 people total. 2 people in front of me asked for samples which she happily provided. When I asked to try 1 flavor, I got an attitude and a response "well we are just way too busy so you can't try anything." I said, you literally just gave out 3 samples 2 seconds ago, why not now? She scoffed and proceeded to hastily scoop a sample for me to try while rolling her eyes. Not a good first impression at all. If I am visiting for the first time and drive 45 minutes, I'd be pretty upset if I just spent $5 on 1 scoop that I didn't like. That's why samples exist. The only reason why I still gave 3 stars is because it's definitely not the worst ice cream out there, but it's far from great or the best.
This gem of a ice Creamery is part of the main restaurant called by the same name. Roots. And both the creative food offerings and the completely fabulous Ice cream's are a Force to be reckoned with. The staff are Soo Cool and comfortable with the whole concept of healthy but flavorful ingredients that I cannot help but recommend BOTH AT THE SAME Time
Ice cream was delicious...Banana Graham and dairy-free Banana...yummy😋 so good! The food was fantastic too, chicken gyro, fries, and mac...The staff members were very helpful and hardworking. The owner even came out to greet customers. Great place to grab a quick bite and get some really good ice cream...Blessings!!! …
The ice cream is always delicious... typical and whimsical flavors. Always a few on the menu that I can't choose between.
The food is always thoughtful and yummy.
An amazing assortment of the best home made ice cream with flavors you won't find anywhere else! This is such a great find and we will be back. The flavors are changed daily so there is always something new to try. Fair price and friendly courteous staff. A great place to stop at anytime.
